Welcome to the website of Tyabb Fire Brigade, we have updated our website, and now hope it is a more efficient and easier format for our visitors.

Juniors
We would like to welcome aboard Steve Birkinshaw as an addition to our Junior Leaders team, Steve currently serving as 2nd Lieutenant as well as a parent himself will be a great asset to our team.
Our Juniors progam is back for 2008 and have several juniors registered and getting a lot out of the program. Coming up in 2008 for Juniors we have some great skills training as well as some exciting excursions including trips to Vicfire our dispatch centre, visit to an urban brigade and also first aid level1 training.

Station Extensions.
Also you will be able to track our station extensions project by clicking here or you may find a link in the Major Projects page. The extensions are going well and currently awaiting painting, all that is needed now is some services connected and floor coverings.

Brigade History.

Tyabb Fire Brigade was established in 1944, starting out as a bush fire brigade with minimum crew.

The first fire appliance was a trailer equipped with a pump which members were rostered to tow with their own vehicles. Since then we have come a long way.
